Squirrel and Rice
1 squirrel per person is usually enough
red pepper, just a sprinkle
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt per squirrel
Cover squirrels with water, add salt and boil until tender, save water for the rice. Cook until meat falls from bone. In a large skillet make enough gravy to cover squirrels. Add garlic powder and lemon and red pepper to taste. Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes. Cook rice with water from the squirrel boil.
